The event began with a captivating storytelling session centered on the life of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). Key moments highlighted included his unwavering submission to Allah’s command when leaving his family in Mecca, his readiness to sacrifice his son for Allah’s sake, and his role in constructing the Kaaba. The main takeaway was an inspiring reflection on the concept of submission to Allah and how it leads to true happiness and fulfillment.
Following the storytelling session, a leather crafting activity was conducted by Leather Dudes. This hands-on workshop aimed to instill the value of helping with household chores and acquiring practical skills, such as sewing, as exemplified by Prophets like Hazrat Idris (AS) and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The session included an engaging discussion on different types of leather—goat, cow, and sheep—and their uses. The children then crafted their own wallets from leather pieces, fostering creativity and an appreciation for the Sunnah.
