Maulana Owais started off the event by providing a brief overview of Arabia’s geography and the pre-Islamic conditions of the region. The discussion then shifted to key figures who influenced the early childhood of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), culminating in the significant event of the splitting of his heart.
Following this, the children participated in a fun Jenga activity, sharing their most cherished moments with their parents. An inspiring interview was then conducted with Mr. Uzair, who shared his remarkable journey from growing up in an orphanage in Mardan to working at a leading software-house in Khi while simultaneously pursuing his bachelor's degree on scholarship.
Nabeel Bhai emphasized the importance of caring for orphans in Islam, encouraging the children to initiate a fundraising drive in the spirit of Sadaqah during Ramadan. This initiative aligns with our objective of involving the community to create a positive impact. To support this cause, ghullaks were also distributed among the children as a reminder to actively participate in the fundraising campaign. Children are free to donate to any charity supporting orphanages; otherwise, we will be collecting all contributions at our next event and handing them over to Al-Islah Orphanage, where Uzair was raised.
The event concluded with the children writing heartfelt appreciation letters to their parents—keep an eye out, as these special letters will soon be delivered from heart to heart by Pakistan Post!
