The 8th Seerat Club session, held on 4th July '25 at Shafqat Masjid, began with a brief recap of the early life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). This was followed by an engaging discussion on the life of Hazrat Khadija (RA)—her family & professional background, her first interaction with the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and how she was the very first to accept Islam. The children learned how her generosity played a key role in the spread of Islam.
Children were then introduced to the concept of entrepreneur - described as idea superhero's who observe a problem, thinks of a creative solution, and builds a profitable business around it. emphasize how putting Sunnah into action in everyday life—especially in business dealings—is both possible and rewarding. This helped the children connect Islamic values with real-world problem-solving & innovation.
The session continued with the story of the reconstruction of the Kaaba. The children explored how a conflict among the Quraysh tribes was peacefully resolved through the wisdom of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), turning a potentially hostile situation into one of unity through team work.
🕌 After Maghrib prayers, two parallel activities took place:
For younger children (under 7):
Lemonade Stand Challenge—They created posters, squeezed lemons for fresh juice, and came up with creative marketing pitches. The activity encouraged teamwork, confidence, and basic business skills in a fun, hands-on way.
For older children (8+) :
Mini CEO Challenge - Divided into teams, they brainstormed a business idea, filled out a planning template, designed a poster, and presented their pitch to a panel of judges.
Each group was supported by mentors from the local community, including professionals from fields such as IT, engineering, supply chain, academia, and marketing. These mentors guided them throughout the process and helped them think creatively and critically.
The panel of judges included:
Arsalan Ajmal, Founder – Chottay Sikkay
Dr. Umair Arif, CEO – AI Disrupt Labs
Ahsan Imtiaz, Marketing Specialist
Despite limited time, the children presented their ideas with enthusiasm and clarity. Prizes were awarded for the best lemonade stand, best business idea, best pitch, and best poster. But truly—every child was a winner, walking away with new skills & confidence.
