🌄 Seerat Club – Cycle 2 | Session 6 | July '26
Alhamdulillah, our 6th Seerat Club session of Cycle 2 brought together children for an engaging evening of stories, reflection, quizzes and hands-on learning centered around one powerful lesson: Tawakkul (Trust in Allah).
We began with the story of Ali, whose football team had reached the tournament final after months of hard work. Just before the big match, Ali fell sick and was heartbroken at missing the final. As events unfolded, he discovered that his illness had protected him from a serious on-field injury and instead gave him the opportunity to spend quality time with his cousin, who was visiting unexpectedly. The story helped children understand that although we may not always understand Allah's plan, Allah is Al-'Aleem (The All-Knowing) and Al-Hakeem (The All-Wise)—and He always knows what is best for us.
The discussion then shifted to the events leading up to the Treaty of Hudaybiah, where the Prophet ﷺ and his companions set out with the intention of performing Umrah but were stopped outside Makkah. Although the treaty initially appeared unfavorable, children learnt how the Prophet ﷺ demonstrated patience, trust in Allah and commitment to keeping promises. These qualities ultimately led to one of the greatest victories in Islamic history, reminding us that success does not always come immediately—it often comes through patience. To reinforce the key lessons, an interactive quiz session was held.
âš¡ The evening concluded with a fun hands-on STEM activity, conducted by RoboWhiz, where children built simple series and parallel circuits using batteries, wires, LEDs and resistors. Just as every component plays an important role in completing a circuit, the children reflected on how patience, Tawakkul and keeping promises were all essential "components" that led to spread of Islam after Hudaybiah.
✨ At Seerat Club, our aim is to help children discover that Seerah is not just history—it is a guide for life, inspiring them to build strong character, think wisely and trust Allah through every challenge.
