⚔️ Seerat Club – Cycle 2 | Session 5 ⚔️

⚽ Our 5th session kicked off by discussing the FIFA World Cup, before reflecting on the leadership qualities of a good captain in light of Seerah. Through the Battle of Khandaq, children discovered how the Prophet ﷺ led with consultation, teamwork, patience and Tawakkul. To help children appreciate the scale of the trench, we used fun visual comparisons with animals and cars, bringing history to life in an engaging way. ⛏️

💡 We then learnt about the remarkable journey of Hazrat Salman Al-Farsi (RA)—his lifelong search for the truth and how one brilliant idea helped protect Madinah at a critical moment. 

To connect Seerah with the present day, we introduced  ⁨@bioniks2016⁩  a Pakistani startup designing advanced prosthetic limbs that are transforming lives across the world, including for children affected by war in Palestine. Children were especially inspired by Noman Siddiqui, a differently-abled cricketer, who shared his personal journey of resilience and gratitude. His story reminded us to be thankful for Allah's blessings, remain strong through life's challenges, and never let difficulties stop us from pursuing our goals. 🏏

🎨 The session concluded with the Ummah Innovation Challenge, where children participated in a poster presentation competition on the theme: "I Have an Idea That Can Change the World!" 💭

Before presenting, children learnt simple presentation skills focusing on Body Language, Eyes and Voice. Working in teams, they confidently shared thoughtful and creative ideas before a panel of judges. Winners were awarded customized jerseys of their favorite football teams, while every participant left with something even more valuable—a reminder that big ideas, teamwork and trust in Allah can change the world. 🏆
